Moving day

Here we were in a completely empty house (save for a couple of brooms, rags and a bunot), as Mama was calling Papa to check if he and the moving truck had already arrived in our new dwelling. We let Nitoy loose with the camera, and this was his self-portrait to commemorate moving day. He also took tons of pictures of the alley cats we had come to call our own, Itim, Patchwork Cat, and the three kittens. Saying goodbye to these animals was about as heartbreaking as it was saying goodbye to our neighbors. Nitoy's playmate T. had this to say, "Nitoy, I'll give you a lucky charm. That way we'll be friends forever."

So sad, leaving friends, including the four footed variety. I'm glad your furniture was able to help younger relatives, and I hope you'll be able to move to a larger place again in the future. You'll build memories in the new home, including a new family member, and I hope Nitoy finds more kitties to play with soon!

MARJIE, to tell you the truth had I known I was pregnant I would have opted for a house, and a bigger one, too! We actually considered a 4BR house with a teeny-weeny yard that would have been perfect for a dog (although not a Great Dane, LOL) before opting for this condo. As it is, we're contractually bound for a year's lease, so the earliest we can move again is when the new baby's four months old...
